KEŞFEDİŞ

Dünya’ya geldiği ilk andan itibaren doğa ile iç içe yaşayan insan, hayatını sürdürebilmek için her zaman coğrafi bilgilere ihtiyaç duymuştur. Bu ihtiyaç duyduğu bilgilere ulaşmak için çevresini keşfe çıkan insan yavaş yavaş keşfettiği doğayla içinde yeşeren merak duygusunu daha da güçlendirmiştir. İçindeki bu merak duygusuyla birlikte hayatta kalmanın yollarını keşfetmiş ve bu bilgileri geliştirerek bu günlere kadar yaşamını devam ettirmiştir. 

Dünya’yı tanımaya uğraşan insan için coğrafya mükemmel bir yardımcı niteliğindedir. Yaşadığı çevredeki doğa olaylarını anlamasına yardımcı olmuş, doğal afetlere karşı zamanla bilinç kazanmasını ve tasarruflu olmayı öğrenmesini sağlamıştır.

Yüzyıllar önce bir insanın o yaşam şartları altında coğrafyayı öğrenmesi gerekliydi. Peki şartların değiştiği ve teknolojinin bu kadar geliştiği bir zamanda biz neden Coğrafya öğrenmeliyiz?

İlk olarak coğrafya öğrenmek bize sadece hayatta kalma becerisi katmaz. Aynı zamanda vatan sevgisi ve dünyadaki diğer milletlerle birlik içinde yaşamak için de bizim coğrafyaya ihtiyacımız vardır. Dünya’yı ve doğayı sevmek, bize emanet olan bu muhteşem doğayı korumak ve en başta bilinçli ve sorumluluk sahibi bireyler olabilmemiz için coğrafyayı öğrenmemiz gerekmektedir.

   From the first moment he came to Earth, the person who lived  in touch with nature always needed geographical information to survive. To get the information it needs, the person who explored his surroundings gradually strengthened his sense of curiosity that flourished with the nature he discovered. With this sense of curiosity in it, he discovered ways to survive and devepoled this knowledge and continued his life to this day. For the person who is trying to get to know the world, geography is an excellent helper. He helped him understand the natural phenomena in the surrounding area, gained awareness over time against natural disasters and learned to be saving.

  Centuries ago, a person had to learn geography under those living conditions. So why should we learn Geography at a time when conditions are changing and technology is so advanced?

  First of all, learning geography doesn't just add to us the ability to survive. At the same time, we need geography to live in unity with the love of the homeland and other nations in the world. We need to learn the geography in order to love the world and nature, to protect this magnificent nature that is entrusted to us and to be conscious and responsible individuals first of all.
